SCHOOL FEES POLICY

Explorer Pioneers School is a private institution, and therefore, charges fees to its learner. The institution does not accept cash payments to its premises. All monies are deposited into the school's bank account. A non-refundable registration fee must be paid by all new learners upon enrolment, and the returning learners pay a re-registration fee. School fees are paid for 12 months, that is, January to December. Parents and guardians are advised that school holidays form part of the contractual agreement, therefore fees must be paid even if schools are closed. Temporary closure of schools beacuase of government directives or emergencies, and or individual learner periods of absence, does not exempt parents/guardians from paying fees. Parents/guardians can choose to pay school fees either in monthly installments, quarterly or annually. School fees are due on the 1st of every month. fees that are paid after the 7th will attract 8% late payment penalty. Learners who are offered the priviledge of a discount on fees will automatically lose discount if fees are paid later than the 7th. Explorer pioneers school reserves the right to suspend from attending lessons, any learner whose fees payment is in breach of the school's fee policy. School fees are subject to annual adjustment, at the discretion of the directors of the school. Learners who have paid fees in advance, but wish to leave the school midyear, will be refunded the excess provided they give a one month' written notice.
